These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Peakio mobile application ("App") operated by Peakio ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using Peakio, you agree to these Terms.
1. Use of the App
Peakio allows you to submit video URLs from social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and converts them into structured, actionable cards using artificial intelligence. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
2. Accounts
You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
Peakio offers free and paid subscription tiers:
- Free: 5 cards per month with advertisements
- Pro: 50 cards per month, no ads ($6.99/month or $49.99/year)
- Premium: 200 cards per month, no ads ($14.99/month or $99.99/year)
Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings under Apple ID > Subscriptions.
Prices are subject to change. We will notify you of any price changes in advance. All payments are processed by Apple and are subject to the App Store's terms and conditions.
4. Content and Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of any data you create through the App (your saved cards, checklists, and notes). We do not claim ownership of your content.
The videos you submit URLs for remain the property of their respective creators. Peakio processes publicly available video content to extract structured information for your personal use. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the extracted content complies with applicable laws and the original content creator's rights.
The Peakio app, its design, code, and branding are our intellectual property and are protected by copyright and other laws.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the App
- Circumvent usage limits or subscription restrictions
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the App to infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights
6. AI-Generated Content
Peakio uses artificial intelligence to process video content and generate cards. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should verify important information (such as recipe ingredients, exercise instructions, or product details) before relying on it. We are not responsible for any harm resulting from inaccurate AI-generated content.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Peakio is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Peakio at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases and we may delete your data after a reasonable period.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Continued use of Peakio after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
