Peakio ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Peakio mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name through our authentication provider (Apple Sign-In or email/password).
Content Data: When you submit a video URL to Peakio, we process the video content using AI to generate structured cards. We store the resulting card data associated with your account. We do not store the original video files.
Usage Data: We collect basic analytics such as app opens, features used, and card saves to improve the app experience.
Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system version, and a unique device identifier for crash reporting and analytics purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Peakio app
- Process video URLs and generate actionable cards
- Manage your account and subscriptions
- Send important service-related communications
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
3. Advertising
Our free tier displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings. Paid subscribers do not see any advertisements.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase: Authentication and backend services
- RevenueCat: Subscription and in-app purchase management
- Google AdMob: Advertising (free tier only)
- Apple App Store: Payment processing for subscriptions
Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing their use of your data.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase for data storage, which provides encryption at rest and in transit. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Opt out of personalized advertising
- Export your card data
7. Children's Privacy
Peakio is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy in the app or on this page. Your continued use of Peakio after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
